Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur

A pioneer in Malaysia's hotel industry, Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur opened its doors in 1973 and has been a significant part of Kuala Lumpur’s cityscape.

In 39 years, from the time when the number of international hotels in Kuala Lumpur could be counted on one hand to what the city has blossomed into today, Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur has served and hosted international dignitaries, statesmen, sports personalities, celebrities from the entertainment world; and perhaps the most poignant of all, the typical regular patrons, from all corners of the world.

It has been a tradition of high service standards coupled with suitably corresponding product features that the Deluxe Business class hotel takes pride in over all these years.  Our discerning business travellers and holiday makers have found us to be their preferred location for personal and business entertainment.  The strategic location of the hotel that neighbours commercial centres, shopping areas and the entertainment strips further complemented the iconic hotel brand.

In this same spirit of keeping to high standards and as a continuation to retain relevance as a well-demanded hotel product; we are pleased to announce that Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur will undergo a comprehensive redevelopment – which will involve a reconstruction of the current property.

This will invariably require an indefinite suspension of operations for the hotel; until such time when the hotel has been re-constructed.

The last date of operation in its previous form was on 31 March 2012.

In closing, we would like to take a moment to express our appreciation for your past, present and future support for Hotel Equatorial Kuala Lumpur.
